Computing Science
Pupils studying Computing Science will develop a range of computing and computational thinking skills across a range of contemporary contexts. This includes analytical skills, problem-solving skills, design and modelling skills, and the ability to develop, implement and test digital solutions. With challenging, coherent and enjoyable learner journeys through all levels, courses from National 3 up to Higher take account of the modern technologies and development methodologies related to software development and information systems.
Business Management
Pupils studying Business Management will develop their enterprise skills and attributes by being provided with opportunities to study a range of business and organisational contexts. Learners develop an awareness of the ways in which society relies on businesses and other organisations to satisfy its needs, and an understanding of how to use business information to interpret and report on overall business performance – in a range of contexts. Learners also gain knowledge and understanding of the impact that external influences have on organisations, such as economic impact and sustainability.
Administration & IT
Pupils studying Administration and IT will be provided with practical opportunities so that they can develop and apply their organisational and administrative skills. Learners also develop IT skills that enable them to use technologies as tools for carrying out organisational and administrative tasks.
