Thank you to all the Parents who volunteered to help in the production of We Will Rock You.

Mrs Campbell and Mrs Stewart spent last night seeing Dalzeil high School’s production and are excited to get started of the Bellshill Academy production!

The Art & Design Department’s Transition Project has now launched!!

Miss Arrol and Mrs Higgins welcomed P7 pupils from Lawmuir for the first time on Thursday 3rd October to begin their Pop Art inspired murals.

Our Duke of Edinburgh groups volunteering for their Bronze award.

The pupils have been volunteering their time:

Mossend Primary – running cooking classes with P7 pupils

Lawmuir Primary – assisting in classes and doing one-to-one support.

Bellshill Academy – maintaining the sensory garden and painting wall displays around the school grounds.

Introducing the 2019-20 Eco group – senior members.

The pupils are currently planning the clothes recycling event that will take place in November – pupils and staff are encouraged to gather any unwanted, old clothes to donate and recycle in their Pupil Support house bin in the school foyer.

The group will then move on and plan the Christmas card recycling competition. They will also help maintain the sensory garden.
