Yesterday Primary 4 went to Newmains Pastroral Centre to take part in a special retreat to begin our preparation for receiving the Sacrament of The Eucharist for ther first time in May. It was a really special day for us. We learned about the parts the mass and we spoke about how Jesus will come to us in a special way when we receive communion for the first time. Some of us read passages from the bible during the prayer service and all of us enjoyed the film about when Jesus rose from the dead at Easter. Even our lunch was special because just like the last supper, we shared a lovely meal together. We all enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens during our break and Helen, our retreat leader was so kind and nice to us all day. We learned so much and we hope to go back again someday.
