We had great fun playing our sounds game to day. We had to watch for the letter paddle to find out which corner we had to run to. We were really good at spotting the sound but we were exhausted by the end of the game!

We are learning how to make marks to represent numbers in the nursery at the moment. Yesterday, we played a game where we had to throw a ball into a bucket.
We made a mark on our whiteboards every time that we managed to do this. This girl was VERY good at this game!
At the end, we counted our marks to see how many goals we all scored. Well done everyone!
As part of our topic about Festivals, we have been learning about Guy Fawkes Night. We talked about being safe with fireworks and we made some sparkly firework pictures. We have as special dark space in the playroom where we have been exploring light and darkness with some fabulous lights and torches. We even have a night time race track with remote controlled cars with real head lights to light the way in the dark.

We were learning to match letters when we played letter pairs with Mrs O’Neill. We worked in a group and had to take turns and we helped each other when the game was tricky.

We have had a great time at our Hallowe’en party. Lots of us joined in the dressing up, even the teachers! We had lots of Hallowe’en crafts, songs and games. Everyone enjoyed dooking for apples and having special party food.
