We have been listening to a variety of stories and have been talking about the different characters, different settings, making simple predictions and sharing what parts of the story we liked.  

We have been exploring the 3d shapes using them to build, match, sort  and naming them.

We are learning about recyling

We have been using language biggest, smallest, bigger than and smaller than when building sandcastles and building with the wooden blocks.

The children had lots of fun making kites outdoors and they flew them high into the sky. It was such a windy day!

The children have been enjoying playing with our new iPads. Thanks to all our parents for their support in raising funds to purchase these for our children.

We are using the large 2d shapes to create images. We can recognise a variety of 2d shape and are creating houses, Christmas trees, flowers, lava and castles. We are putting shapes togetther to make other shapes.

The afternoon children also had so much fun playing in the snow. They were making snowballs with their peers.

We had a lot of fun playing and learning in the snow. We made cube shapes to make an igloo and also made snow angels.

We have been outside looking for shapes in our environment.
