We had a great day today as we took part in our very first nativity. We had a great time singing all the songs we learned and some of us even had lines to remember but we did fantastic. Mr Young said we were all superstars and we got a huge clap at the end from the audience, we must have been great! Merry Christmas from Primary 1 Rockets!

As it is advent we have made our own advent promises that we are going to try our best to keep. We are so excited for Christmas and we have been learning that advent is the journey to Christmas day and how important it is.

We have worked very hard this week and all made a musical instrument. We used these instruments to create sound patterns, it was great fun we got to work with a partner to do this. Look at some of our fantastic instruments!

We loved playing our instruments to our class, we had great fun!

We have been learning about our topic ‘Light and Dark’ and we have been on a hunt to find sources of light and materials that reflect light in our classroom. We cant believe there were so many!

After some technical problems with our blog we are back!
We have been working very hard this past week.
We have been learning about patterns and we have been using shapes and objects to create our own patterns.

We can create our own patterns and predict what comes next. We are learning that we see patterns everywhere we go!

Primary 1 Rockets have been so busy with work we are only now getting round to writing our very first blog. We have had a very busy couple of weeks and we cannot believe that we have nearly been in primary 1 for one month!

We are all exhausted today after taking part in our sponsored walk to Drumpellier Country Park, but safe to say we all had a great time! We all have our fingers and toes crossed that this nice weather stays put and we can get outside for P.E next week.
