Introducing Fitter Fruity Fridays, an enterprise run by P3\/4\/5.<\/p>\n

P3\/4\/5 have been learning about how different foods give us energy and how exercise keeps us fit.\u00a0 They suggested that it would be good to show the rest of the pupils.<\/p>\n

During previous sessions, some of the pupils have been part of the “Banton Bakery” and “Slurpz Smoothies” Fairtrade Enterprise\u00a0 projects and the pupils were keen\u00a0 to do something like this again.<\/p>\n

In discussion with Mrs Rae, they came up with the idea of creating a workout for the other pupils to keep them fit and then providing a fruity treat as a reward.\u00a0 The pupils were aware that they still had the profits from the Banton Bakery to spend and were keen to provide this fruit for free for all pupils by using this money to buy the fruit.<\/p>\n

When creating the workout the children were very thoughtful and aware of the difference in skills and abilities of all of our pupils from P1 to P7.\u00a0 They decided to adapt each exercise so there are three levels and each pupil can choose the one they are comfortable doing.<\/p>\n
