To start the new term, we have been revising what we learned about volume last term.<\/p>\n

We know that you measure volume in ml or litres.\u00a0 You can write that the short way using ml or l.<\/p>\n

You can use lots of different things to measure volume such as cups, spoons or jugs.\u00a0 However, these can be all different sizes so we can’t use these to compare volumes.\u00a0 That is why we use the units of litres and millilitres.<\/p>\n

We can use measuring jugs to measure accurately and we can use the scale on the side of the jugs.<\/p>\n

To show we can do this, we filled different measuring jugs with oats so they contained different volumes.<\/p>\n
