Last week in our Teams meeting the Biggies looked \u00a0at and thought about \u00a0the poem Long Trip by Langston Hughes<\/a>. The children used it as a template to write their own poems.<\/p>\n

\nThe Burn Is A Woosh Of Water.
\nA Sound Of Relaxation.
\nIt Runs And Ripples,
\nGlows And Glimmers,
\nDown The Rocks.
\nRaging, Roughly,
\nRoughly, Raging.

\nThe sea is a witches cauldron covered in shadows from the dark.

\nSplash, dash.

\nThe pony is a pearl,

The unstoppable sword<\/strong>
\nThunder is the sword of god,
\nA sword is the teeth of a shark.
\nIt slices and dices,
