Try to make at least 3 so you can compare the designs.<\/p>\nWe are looking for:<\/p>\n\nSmoothest Flyer<\/li>\nDistance Flight<\/li>\nBest looking design<\/li>\nBest Decoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe will also use this for our writing this week. Grey – YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"literacy2020530\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Literacy<\/h3>\n<h4>Yellow & Blue Group<\/h4>\n<p>Pick a Fiction Book from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordowl.co.uk\">Oxford Owl<\/a> or one you have in the house but have not read yet.<\/p>\n<p>There are three activities so spread them out over the week<\/p>\n<h5>Prior Knowledge<\/h5>\n<p>Make predictions about what the book will be about based on the title, front cover and any prior knowledge of the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Write these down in your eportfolio or on a piece of paper. Title it with <strong>the name of the book<\/strong> and then put the first heading <strong>Before Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the book or the first couple of chapters if it is along one. Were you right, add to your post or on your paper, give a second heading <strong>After Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you are writing make sure your handwriting in neat. Writing or typing check your capital letters, fullstops, and spelling. <\/em><\/p>\n<h5>Setting<\/h5>\n<p>Discuss the setting of the story \u2013 can you use describing words<br \/>\nto write a description of the setting?<\/p>\n<p>Read the rest of the story, or the next few chapters if it is a long one.<\/p>\n<h5>Beginning Middle and End<\/h5>\n<p>Retell the main events in the story or section you have read. What happened at the<br \/>\nbeginning, middle and end of the story? Plan out when you are going to do them.<\/p>\n<h4>Writing<\/h4>\n<p>Write instructions to make a paper aeroplane, don’t just copy text from the internet. Write your own. Or you could make a comic or movie with some instruction. If you are writing you will need lots of pictures. You could make a presentation with Keynote. Remember you will need a list of materials and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>See the <a Title it with <strong>the name of the book<\/strong> and then put the first heading <strong>Before Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the book or the first couple of chapters if it is along one. Were you right, add to your post or on your paper, give a second heading <strong>After Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you are writing make sure your handwriting in neat. Try to make at least 3 so you can compare the designs.<\/p>\nWe are looking for:<\/p>\n\nSmoothest Flyer<\/li>\nDistance Flight<\/li>\nBest looking design<\/li>\nBest Decoration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe will also use this for our writing this week. Grey – YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a name=\"literacy2020530\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Literacy<\/h3>\n<h4>Yellow & Blue Group<\/h4>\n<p>Pick a Fiction Book from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfordowl.co.uk\">Oxford Owl<\/a> or one you have in the house but have not read yet.<\/p>\n<p>There are three activities so spread them out over the week<\/p>\n<h5>Prior Knowledge<\/h5>\n<p>Make predictions about what the book will be about based on the title, front cover and any prior knowledge of the subject.<\/p>\n<p>Write these down in your eportfolio or on a piece of paper. Title it with <strong>the name of the book<\/strong> and then put the first heading <strong>Before Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the book or the first couple of chapters if it is along one. Were you right, add to your post or on your paper, give a second heading <strong>After Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you are writing make sure your handwriting in neat. Writing or typing check your capital letters, fullstops, and spelling. <\/em><\/p>\n<h5>Setting<\/h5>\n<p>Discuss the setting of the story \u2013 can you use describing words<br \/>\nto write a description of the setting?<\/p>\n<p>Read the rest of the story, or the next few chapters if it is a long one.<\/p>\n<h5>Beginning Middle and End<\/h5>\n<p>Retell the main events in the story or section you have read. What happened at the<br \/>\nbeginning, middle and end of the story? Plan out when you are going to do them.<\/p>\n<h4>Writing<\/h4>\n<p>Write instructions to make a paper aeroplane, don’t just copy text from the internet. Write your own. Or you could make a comic or movie with some instruction. If you are writing you will need lots of pictures. You could make a presentation with Keynote. Remember you will need a list of materials and equipment.<\/p>\n<p>See the <a Title it with <strong>the name of the book<\/strong> and then put the first heading <strong>Before Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Read the book or the first couple of chapters if it is along one. Were you right, add to your post or on your paper, give a second heading <strong>After Reading<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you are writing make sure your handwriting in neat.
