Last Week we worked on the poem The Magic Box<\/a>\u00a0by Kit Wright in our Teams meetings, we came up with our own version, I think it is as good as the original.<\/p>\n

The Magic Box<\/h3>\n

I Will Put In The Box,
\nThe First Great White Shark,
\nA Great Green Tree,
\nThe Last Light Seen On Earth.<\/p>\n

I Will Put In The Box,
\nThe first life of a man
\nThe joy of god
\nThe light of god<\/p>\n

I will put in the box:
\nA dog with a head for a tail,
\na cat who had a hat,
\nand stegosaurus with no toe,<\/p>\n

I will put in the box:
\nThe first laugh of a baby,
\nThe last ray of sunshine,
\nThe wind blowing in the trees.<\/p>\n

I will put in the box:
\nThe sight of the Queen
\nA duck flying free
\nTo see the first petals on the trees<\/p>\n

I will put on the box…
\nA new clear crystal,
\nMy dogs first loud howl,
\nMy baby brother’s first word.<\/p>\n

I will put in my box
\nA flame from a dying sun,
\nA fallen star dropped by the night sky,
\nLife from another planet.<\/p>\n

I will put in my box…
\nThe colour of the sky,
\nThe stars in the night,
\nThe work that warmth of the sun.<\/p>\n

I will put in the box:
\nMy puppies first bark,
\nA memory of a sunny day in the park,
\nThe smell of a flower,
\nAnd a sweet that is sour.<\/p>\n

Our box is made of unicorn fluff, wood and Redstone,
\nIt has tractors and dens on the top.
\nThe body is made of barriers,
\nInvisible if it is not in your hand,
\nI shall ride my unicorn box into tomorrow,
\nThe end of lockdown and McDonalds.<\/p>\n
