Now, using your Prior Knowledge of what has happened so far and your imagination, write a few more bullet points outlining what might happen next.<\/p>\n<p>Once this is done, you should attempt to write a <strong>few paragraphs<\/strong> in the same style as the writer for this imaginary next scene.<\/p>\n<h4>What to aim for:<\/h4>\n<h3>First Level<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the Purpose and Audience (who and why you are writing)<\/li>\n<li>A varied opening\/setting to encourage the reader to read on<\/li>\n<li>The setting and the characters<\/li>\n<li>One or two main events in a sequenced order. (Include thoughts and feelings of the characters)<\/li>\n<li>Introduce simple dialogue (no more than 2 speakers \u2013use a coloured pencil)<\/li>\n<li>An ending which brings the events to a conclusion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Second Level<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the Purpose and Audience (who and why you are writing)<\/li>\n<li>A detailed opening to catch the reader\u2019s interest and make them want to read further<\/li>\n<li>With increasing detail, describe the setting and the main characters \u2013what they look like and the type of person they are<\/li>\n<li>With increasing detail, describe the main events in a sequence (characters\u2019 thoughts, feelings, actions and reactions)<\/li>\n<li>Using dialogue, develop characters\u2019 actions, interactions and feelings<\/li>\n<li>A turning point or cliffhanger which provides the reader with an appropriate\/satisfactory conclusion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Use the book you are currently reading, you should have made a visualiser for a character.
