Slugs belong to seven different families which in spite of looking similar, they\u2019re not closely related. Not every slug share a common fore father (ancestor) and slug often means a lot of snails without shells for example, sea slugs and semi-slugs. Even though slugs can reproduce by themselves it is quite uncommon.
