Happy (almost) February!<\/p>\n

It was great to see so many children engaged in last week\u2019s work and during our Teams meetings!<\/p>\n

This week we are continuing with our new sounds<\/b> and spelling words<\/b>, as well as doing some persuasive writing<\/b>! In Maths<\/b> we are going to tackle some fractions<\/b>, and I am also going to pop of a page of daily sums<\/b> for each group into our Files <\/i>area on Teams. These sums are a way for the children to continue practicing their calculation<\/b> work and can be answered in whichever way the children find easiest \u2013 written, orally, with counters, fingers, toys, chimneys, calculators.<\/s> We are also going to be looking at Our Local Area<\/i>, this week focussing on important buildings<\/b> and map-making<\/b>.<\/p>\n
