Our P7 pupils leavers’ treat yesterday. Footgolf at Palacerigg followed by lunch at The Swan. Many thanks to our parent council and @RotaryKilsyth for donating towards footgolf and to @The_Swan_Banton for their very kind gesture in waiving the bill for lunch. What a great day!

We used micro:bits, computers, iPads, cardboard, duck tape, paint, green screen video, coding and art skills.
Our Primary Sevens were part of a joint team with Chapelgreen at this event yesterday.
The Team came second overall with the Banton pupils giving a strong performance. We brought home 3 firsts: boy’s 600m and both girl’s and boy’s long jump. A strong showing for such a small team. Well done all!

Some of the Primary 1-2-3s joined the Biggies today to learn about using Brushes.app to make pictures. They did really well.

Banton Primary had a visit from Google Expeditions, you can read what the pupils thought on the Banton Biggies site.
Yesterday Primary 5-6-7 had a visit from Mr and Mrs Carter and Mr Coalman. We learnt a lot about the mining history of Banton.
