School lunches are currently free to pupils who are in Primary 1 to 5 and for pupils in Primary 6 and Primary 7 who receive free school meals. For all other pupils, the price of a primary school two-course lunch is now £3.40. All meals are served with milk or chilled water and two portions of vegetables and a portion of fruit daily. Pupils can also choose either soup, yoghurt, or home baking as indicated on the menu to accompany their meal.
