The school grids have also been uploaded to this website.<\/p>\n<p>The school grids look a little different this time as teachers have suggested a daily or weekly routine. It is there to offer more structure to those who would like it but if you have found a routine that works for your family, stick with it. The class teachers have also assigned spelling words for children based on their class groupings. If any children can\u2019t remember which spelling group they are in, please get in touch.<\/p>\n<p><u>Class Notebook<\/u><\/p>\n<p>We have been running a pilot in using the Class Notebook on Teams and hope to roll this out to all children later this week.<\/p>\n<p>Each child has their own notebook space where work can be typed in, copied and pasted or photographs of written work can be uploaded. This will give children an opportunity to share their work with their teacher and receive feedback on it. The notebook can only be accessed by the pupil and the teachers. The class notebook will be an optional resource, teachers will check and feedback once a week on any work that has been uploaded but you need not use it if you don\u2019t want to.<\/p>\n<p>We will still encourage children to share photographs and videos on the main posts page as many have reported feeling connected to their classmates this way.<\/p>\n<p><u>P7-S1 Transition<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The transition programmes for our P7s are underway, emails have been sent out to parents and messages left on the Class Team for the children where there is an expectation to complete a task.<\/p>\n<p>Chryston High School has set up a transition twitter account, please see this page for regular updates. @CHSp7Transition<\/p>\n<p><u>Mental Health Awareness Week<\/u><\/p>\n<p>The 18<sup>th<\/sup> \u2013 24th May is Mental Health Awareness week. Finding the balance of working from home, home learning and family life isn\u2019t an easy one. We will be retweeting various resources this week, but the most important thing is finding what is works for your family and doing that.
