Summerlee Museum P1/2 Trip

Today P1/2 (Room 6) went on their trip to Summerlee Museum. We have being learning about toys part of our Science topic and today we were learning about old and new toys.  We all had  great fun playing with the old and new toys and then making our own Christmas Santa toy. Here are some of the pictures to show you what we got up to.

Moving Toys Challenge

P6/7 were set a challenge as part of their Forces topic.  They were challenged to build a balancing toy. They were given 3 weeks to complete their project and then showcased them to the class.

P6/7 Bowls

Room 1 had a visit from 2 members of Shotts bowling Club. We had fun learning how to play bowls, it’s definitely different from the bowling we’re used to!

Christmas Craft Fayre

Primary 1/2 have been busy this week making Reindeer Noses for the Christmas Craft Fayre. Come and pop down to the fayre tonight to pick up your Reindeer Noses and other treats. Hope to see you there!
