Primary 1/2 are making information booklets about hens as they have been reading their Little red hen story in class. We first needed to find more information about hens so we decided to use the laptops. Here we are writing the information on a white board. I can work with a partner taking turns to write and read the information.  I am getting help on how to spell tricky words.

True Scots!

As part of our Burns Day celebrations, room 1  studied the line, pattern and colour of different tartans. We used our research to design and create our own tartan kilts, we added details such as belts and sporrans as well as some hairy legs to finish off our masterpieces. Check them out!  

Measuring

 Primary one and two have started the measure topic in Maths. Today we used the rulers to measure objects around the classroom and recorded our finding in cm.    I know the difference between tall and short.  Some objects were tricky to measure.  I like books, so i wanted to measure big and small books.  We are able to measure different objects.  We are measuring different hand sizes. Primary 1/2/3 Christmas Party

We had a great time at our Christmas party on Thursday. We played lots of games and won lots of prizes.  We got a nice snack and sat with our friends to have it. Then we had a special visit from santa who brought us lots of presents.   From all the boys and girls in Room 6 wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🙂  

Our Christmas Party

On Thursday the 17th of December we had our Christmas party. It was great fun! Magic Den visited us to show us some very special magic tricks. We also had a visit from a very special man, Santa Claus. Miss McIntyre.

Nursery Christmas Nativity.

On Friday the 11th of December, all children participated in our Christmas Show. They were amazing! The Parents said the show was ‘ fantastic!’ and ‘absolutely brilliant.’ Well done boys and girls! Miss McIntyre.

Nativity Update

Primary 1/2 along with P 3/4 have been working very hard practicing their lines for the Christmas Nativity ‘Sparkle’. We hope to see you all there.   *Reminder to parents to bring in the requested items of clothing for the dress rehearsal on Monday.
