Tomorrow marks the first day of our new adventure. Buses will leave at 8:30, children should report to the lower playground next to the football pitch. Staff will be there to assist children. Please be mindful when parking to allow spaces for the children and note that children will not be allowed into the building if it is raining. Well done to our P6/7 quiz team who represented the school at the Shotts Rotary school quiz on Friday! You guys were fab!
For World Book Day the whole school took part in shared reading. The Primary 6/7 children paired up with Primary 1/2 class and the Primary 3/4 paired up with Primary 4/5. The children shared their favourite books with each other and enjoyed reading part of their books to children from the other classes. Our school Choir spent the morning carol singing at Shotts Co-Op to raise some money for our school. We had a lovely morning and thank you to the Co-Op for having us and for our yummy snack bags!
Today we had a visit from the Lidl Food Bus. We had great fun learning how to make healthy fruit smoothies and the importance of regular exercise. We each recieved a recipe book, a smoothie cup and a voucher to buy more fruit. Thanks to everyone at Lidl for a super day!
