P3/4 Bug Walk
On Friday 13th Room 3 went out a Bug Walk with David Walsh from the charity Bug Life. We used our school garden and the nearby Kingshill Nature reserve to explore, observe and ask questions. We demonstrated our skills and knowledge and learned lots of new facts. We encountered frogs, spiders, bees, snails, flies and lots more. Back in class,
ISS Model
One of our very talented P.7 pupils designed and made his own model of the International Space Station. It was so good the class decided we should tweet Tim Peake personally and let him see this superb piece of work! 😀🌌 Fingers crossed he gets back to us! 👍

Sit down for Breakfast Stand up for Farmers
It is Fairtrade Fortnight and our Fair Trade Committee did some interesting research to find out what Fairtrade means. They went for a visit to the Local Co-op to find Fair Trade products. The whole school got together
World Book Day
For World Book Day the whole school took part in shared reading. The Primary 6/7 children paired up with Primary 1/2 class and the Primary 3/4 paired up with Primary 4/5. The children shared their favourite books with each other and enjoyed reading part of their books to children from the other classes. Here are some pictures from Primary 3/4 and 4/5 reading to each other.
