We are learning about forces and our teacher challenged us to make a craft to get an egg safely to the ground from a height. We then took them outside and tested them out! Some were more successful than others… 🙂 Through this experiment we learned about air resistance! Room 1 🙂
There will be an event held in Calderhead High on Thursday 22nd October to offer support and advice to parents and carers of pre-school children in the Shotts area. All early years establishments will be represented and there will be several agencies there to answer any questions you may have about making the transition to primary school. You will receive further details about this event on the nursery noticeboard nearer
Room 1 are learning about dinosaurs. We researched the sizes of some common dinosaurs, then went out into the playground to measure and compare their sizes. Here are some pictures from our learning. Our whole class still didn’t size up to the enormous 27metres of the Diplodocus!! 🙂
