Assessment and Moderation
In Allanton Primary School and Nursery Class, we aim to provide every child with experiences and opportunities that enable them to achieve their full potential and prepare them for life beyond primary school. One of the key drivers in the National Improvement Framework focuses on assessment of children’s progress. Assessment and Moderation are integral parts of the teaching and learning process and informs our practice, enabling us to meet the needs of all children.
This policy is supported by the ‘Assessment and Moderation’ folders, which provide further guidance and exemplars, and are located in every classroom. The appendices should also be referred to for support. All practitioners are expected to implement this policy to the highest of standards.
