In Primary 3 our focus was problem solving and active maths. Children enjoyed working in trios to solve a puzzle and explain their solution to the class. We had an active maths activities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Making 3 digit numbers out of play-doh.<\/li>\n<li>Making 3 digit numbers on place value boards.<\/li>\n<li>Playing number before and number after on snakes and ladders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We even had a bonfire night themed problem solving homework.
