Mrs Maitland and I had the pleasure of accompanying Primary 4 on\u00a0an educational outing to Vikingar today.\u00a0\u00a0 The boys and girls enjoyed extending their\u00a0learning about the Vikings and\u00a0also impressed our tour guides by showing\u00a0off their prior knowledge .\u00a0\u00a0The children\u00a0participated in\u00a0many activities including\u00a0dressing up in authentic Viking \u00a0clothing, visiting a longhouse and watching a movie about the Battle of Largs in our own private cinema screening! \u00a0The day ended on a high with a trip to the shop where the children had to use their money skills to do some clever budgeting and a sing song on the bus home.\u00a0\u00a0The children were a credit to the school and their parents\u00a0today displaying excellent manners and behaviour throughout.\u00a0 It was a fantastic outing which we all enjoyed.\u00a0 Well done Primary 4!<\/p>\n
