As part of their science topic ‘Planting and Growing’\u00a0Primary 1 planted sunflower seeds last week. The children were very excited\u00a0 and\u00a0now have to care for them to help them grow. They\u00a0need soil, water and sunlight for them to grow.\u00a0 The children will be keeping a diary about their growth and will be looking for new parts of the flower growing.\u00a0They will be also\u00a0 be measuring how tall they get. Some have already started sprouting and have a little stalk! We will keep you updated on their progress.<\/p>\n\n
