Today we released our fish which are late alevin into the River Clyde at Strathclyde Park. We gave the fish names before we let them ago. We wish we could do this topic every year as we had such a great time. When we came back to school we counted how many fish had survived during our project. 77 fish from our 200 eggs survived, we worked this out as three eighths and 38% Not bad considering only 5% would survive if they had been laid in the wild.
Today was so so fun but it was really sad releasing the trout. We all had a great time.
I named mine toast butter and jam and it was sad but happy that they now have their new home in the River Clyde as they will live long and sand with pride
Mine were called petunia penalipy and poppy the topic was really fun and I hope that the soon to be p6 will have as much fun as I did
