Welcome to Airdrie Academy’s Technical Department.

We currently offer Five different subjects at N5 as well as Third different Highers – we are one of the Academy’s hardest working departments. The subjects cover many areas from practical skills in a workshop environment and graphic communication to computer aided design and practical electronics and pnuematics.

We also have a comprehensive course for 1st and 2nd year pupils designed to expose them to as many parts of our middle and upper school courses as possible.

Our aim is to prepare our pupils for possible careers or further study in the technical field.
