The Mathematics department at Airdrie Academy continues to deliver a well-balanced and differentiated curriculum for every pupil it serves from S1 – S6. Our aim in the department is to engage all pupils in the understanding of Mathematics, not just for its theoretical applications, but for its use in real life situations. Our objective is to ensure that pupils are able to leave school with, at the very least, a basic competence in Numeracy, or at the very most a passion to study Mathematics in far greater depth beyond school level.<\/p>\n

The purpose of these pages is primarily as a resource for pupils at all levels. We intend to develop these pages so that they become an invaluable tool for all pupils in S1 – S6 as well as provide useful information for parents on how they can support their children.<\/p>\n

The department runs a supported study session for S4-6, where pupils are invited along to either catch up on any classwork missed, ask any questions or simply to undertake extra revision. This will run EVERY TUESDAY after school (15.45-16.45). Please see your class teacher for more information. No sign up is required, just come along!<\/p>\n
