Digital learning is an important part of learning at Abronhill Primary School. We use digital tools to support teaching, learning and assessment, helping children to engage with their learning in a range of ways.<\/p>\n
Staff make effective use of digital technology in the classroom, including Promethean boards, iPads and laptops<\/strong>, to support learning across the curriculum. Children have opportunities to use digital tools to create, present and share their learning.<\/p>\n We continue to build our digital resources over time, ensuring children have increasing access to technology to support their learning.<\/p>\n At Abronhill, digital learning supports:<\/p>\n We are supported by a member of staff leading digital learning across the school and are beginning to develop opportunities for children to take on digital leadership roles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We are continuing to develop and refine our approach to digital learning as part of our 3-year curriculum improvement cycle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This includes:<\/p>\n This is part of our ongoing work to improve learning and teaching.<\/p>\n We place a strong emphasis on supporting children to use technology safely and responsibly.<\/strong><\/p>\n We recognise that many children access digital platforms and social media outwith school, and may encounter content or situations they do not fully understand.<\/p>\n Through learning in school, we support children to:<\/p>\n We encourage families to continue these conversations at home and to support children in using technology safely.<\/strong><\/p>\n We use digital platforms such as Glow and Microsoft Teams<\/strong> to support learning both in school and at home.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udc49 Access support for Glow and Teams<\/strong><\/p>\n If you need help accessing these, please contact the school, we are happy to support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Digital learning is an important part of learning at Abronhill Primary School.
