Primary 2 has been learning about Christianity. We enjoyed our visit to Abronhill Parish Church. Mrs Boland told us more about the pulpit, flowers and the baptismal font. It was lovely to hear why God is so important in her life as a Christian. Thank you Mrs Boland, Primary 2 enjoyed their visit!
Just a note to say that we have been unable to update our Blog due to a technical problem. The problem has now been resolved and updates will follow shortly. Thank you for your patience and interest in our School.
On Wednesday, Room 6 and Room 5 went on a class trip to the People’s Palace in Glasgow. We were all very excited to look around the museum. We were lucky enough to participate in a workshop with a fantastic guide. We got to learn lots about Glasgow in the 50s and 60s. We enjoyed our lunch in the winter gardens surrounded by the beautiful plants and trees. Finally, we enjoyed playing in the park and playing on the climbing frame. We were all very brave and went down all the big slides. Even Miss Morrison had a go! We had a fantastic day and were all tired on the bus home.
This week, we have been very busy learning lots of new things. We are working hard to tell the time and we are beginning to use analogue and digital clocks. We have also started work on our school show and we can’t wait to perform for you all.
Next week, we are going on our class trip with Room 5 to the People’s Palace. We are excited to go on a day out together.
