The pupils enjoyed hearing the dialect of the time through some of Burns&#8217; most famous poems such as &#8216;The Selkirk Grace&#8217; and &#8216;My Love is like a Red, Red Rose&#8217;. The children were able to investigate the popularity of Burns all across the world.
