27.08.2020 – Dear Parents & Carers,

Father Sweeney has had a lot of enquiries from people asking if they can buy Religious gifts and souvenirs for Communion, Confirmation and Reconciliation. Because of this, he plans to open his religious gift shop on the following days:

Saturday 29th August from 11am to 1pm
Friday 4th September from 11am to 1pm
Saturday 5th September from 11am to 1pm

The shop will be set up in the Mayo hall. Hand sanitiser will be available at the door. Please socially distance and wear a mask.

Thank you

20.08.2020 – Dear parents/carers,

Please ensure you are following the most up to date Government guidelines with regards to quarantine and isolation. (See the link below) If your child is ill in school displaying COVID symptoms, we will contact you asking you to come and collect them promptly.  There is an isolation room set aside in the school for your child to remain until they are collected.

If your child is displaying any signs or symptoms at home related to COVID, have them tested and await the results before they return to school.  Please inform the school if your child is having a test and of the results.  A negative result would allow them to return to school, however a positive result would require the household to self-isolate for the recommended period of time.

Click the link below for the latest advice on what to do if you, or a member of your household is showing symptoms.

Welcome to St Patrick’s Health Week! We know how hard you have been working at home and are so proud of you. This week you have no weekly learning from your teacher. Instead we are all concentrating on our Health and Wellbeing. We have lots of fun competitions and physical activities for you to enjoy at home.

Please upload lots of pictures of you and your family enjoying Health Week. (Remember; no names  to allow us to retweet on our twitter @StPatricks.)

We hope you all have a fun and active week ahead,

25.03.2020  –  Good morning to all our pupils and families. We hope you are all well.

Reminder – Every morning “PE with Joe Wicks” takes place at 9 am on You Tube. It is a great way to start the day as a family or perhaps go a brisk walk together. Please tag any of your family fitness pictures to our twitter account. We would love to see what you are all up to!

Lenten Reminder – Mass is celebrated and streamed live from St Andrew’s Cathedral three times a day during the week:

  • 8:15am ( a great start to the day before PE with Joe Wicks)
  • 1pm       (this could be part of a peaceful afternoon)
  • 5.15pm (a great way to unwind at the end of the day)

On Sunday these times change to 10am, 12pm and 5:15pm.

All services can be found at the following website :    www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-andrews-cathedral

Today Pope Francis asks us to pray with him and to pray for our world at this current time. All he is asking us to do is have a moment of peace at 11am this morning and say one Our Father.

Just like at assembly we want you to think of something kind and good you could do today. Think of:

  • something kind you could say to someone
  • something kind you could do for someone.

Keep working hard at home children, it might be school work, helping around the house or out in the garden. Be good for your mums and dads and when we are back together we will have a big party to celebrate. We miss you and love you all.

Mrs Hagerty and Mrs McBride.
