Parent Council

The Parent Council support the school with many aspects of school life. The Parent Council meet eight times a year to plan for improvements, in line with the annual School Improvement Plan. This year the Parent Council, in partnership with the Focus Children Groups and staff are looking at ways of further improving and developing homework through-out the school. Other areas for improvement are outdoor learning and parent partnerships supported also with CLD. (Community learning and development. Emma Deans(CLD worker) has been appointed to St Ignatius Primary to support initiatives and to work with parents to support more involvement of parents/carers where possible. The Parent Council Group meet on a Tuesday 6pm-7.30pm. Please come along and help us to improve our practice.
