St Ignatius' PS

Weekly Blog – 14th May

On Sunday our Primary 4 pupils led the 2nd preparation mass for their First Communion. Please keep the children in your prayers.

We had a lovely, thanksgiving mass for the children who were confirmed this year.  I would like to thank all the parents and family members who came along and shared this mass with us. It was good to see Father Gerry back with us again.

There will be an open afternoon on Monday for parents whose children attended the Rainbow room, please come along if you can.

Primary 2/3 and Primary 5 will be going on a trip to the Science Centre on Wednesday. I am sure they will have a great time as this is always a very popular trip with the children.

After School Clubs as usual this week apart from the Cross Country which will resume on 29th May.

The PTFA are running a Summer Cash Prize Draw, please see a member of the PTFA if you wish to purchase a ticket. They will also be holding a Family Shorts & Shades disco on Friday 15th June at 6.00pm in the school. Please come along and support the school and enjoy and fun night with your child/ren.

Next week is our joint Health Week. Children should all come to school in appropriate clothing. They will take part in a number of activities throughout the week. More information will follow this week.

Again I would like to thank parents/carers who are parking safely within the school grounds.  Please do not park in the drop off zone if possible.
