Here is the link for the Children’s Liturgy Activity for the Sixth Sunday of Easter. In St. John’s Gospel Jesus tells us “If you love me you will keep my commandments.” How can we show love to others at home?
My favourite line in this Gospel is:”I will not leave you orphans”.
As we approach the great feast of the Ascension this Thursday, we remember that although Jesus went back to his Father in Heaven, he sent his Holy Spirit on the Feast of Pentecost to be with his disciples. The Holy Spirit lives in us too and is always with us, guiding us and leading us to our Father in Heaven.
The Ascension Sequencing Activity
Ascension Thursday is a Holy Day of Obligation and Bishop Toal will be celebrating Mass at 11am to allow us to come together (virtually) as a community of faith. As soon as the link is available, I will post it for you.
As we continue through the month of May, we remember to say the Rosary. Let’s ask Our Lady to look after those who are sick and the families of people who have died. We also remember doctors and nurses and all those looking after the people in hospital at this time.
