Weeks beginning 6th & 13th of April

Good morning boys and girls from Primary 5/6!

I hope you are all well and challenging yourself with all the many online tasks and games available to you.  I know it has been a difficult time, not being able to run around in these fresh Spring days, but it’s so important to stay safe by being indoors.

This week is Holy Week and a time to reflect on Jesus and the days leading up to Easter.  As this would be the beginning of our two week Easter break, I hope you have as much fun and family time over the fortnight. The following are only suggestions for activities you could do at home to help fill in the time spent over this period.

  • LiteracyPlanet are offering free access to online site.

I noticed this lovely keepsake which is a simple way to remember this time you are going through with your family;

Art activity; Cut out the shape of a bunny. Place it on top of a piece of card (black if you have any).  Keeping the bunny in place, shade over the bunny and onto the black paper using different coloured chalk. Now lift the bunny from the page.

While you are in your garden or out your daily walk, search for as many egg shaped pebbles/rocks as you can.

A simple way to decorate your bedroom door or living-room window.

Simple maths to keep your tables fresh!!
