Today is the start of the Easter holidays. The last few weeks have been difficult for us all, but we have to stay safe and continue to stay home. Extension Tasks (all groups)
- Shape hunt – find different 2D and 3D shapes around the house. Tell an adult about the properties of the shape you find (sides, faces, vertices).
- Ask an adult for 5 items. Put them in order from smallest to largest and then heaviest to lightest. Compare the two and see if all heavy are large and small are light.
- Practise counting up and down from a random number. For challenge, try to count up/down from a random number in 2’s, 3’s, 5’s or 10’s. You could create a Counting Choir just like we do in the classroom!
