Welcome to St. Bernadette\u2019s December Newsletter!<\/p>\n

Dear Parents\/Guardians,<\/p>\n

We are now well into December and our Christmas preparations are underway.\u00a0 We have a very busy month ahead and I would ask you to take note of all the important events and activities going on.<\/p>\n

Christmas Fair<\/strong><\/p>\n

Many thanks, to all who helped and supported our Christmas Fair.\u00a0 It was a great success raising in excess of \u00a31600 for the PTA funds.\u00a0 All money raised goes to support the children throughout the year in a number of ways. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Advent<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advent services on Mondays are very important in keeping us focussed on the true meaning of Christmas throughout this busy time.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christmas Show<\/strong><\/p>\n

Preparations for our Christmas Show \u201cAladdin Trouble\u201d are now in full swing!\u00a0 The children and staff are working very hard to ensure we can be at our best for the performances on Wednesday 10th<\/sup> at 1.15pm and on Thursday 11th<\/sup> at 7pm.\u00a0 Children should come to school at 6.15pm for the evening performance and should be collected at 8.30pm.\u00a0 There are still tickets available for sale from the school office.\u00a0 \u00a33 for adults and \u00a31 for children.<\/p>\n

Primary 1 & Primary 2 Nativity is on Friday 12th<\/sup> December at 2.00pm.\u00a0 There are no tickets for this performance, however, you may wish to make a donation at the door.<\/p>\n

Carol Singers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Room 7 will visit Avondale Care home to entertain the residents on Monday 15th<\/sup> December following the Pantomime.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christmas Parties<\/strong><\/p>\n

Primary 1-3 \u2013 Thursday 18th<\/sup> December 1-3pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Primary 4-7 \u2013 Friday 19th<\/sup> December 1-3pm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lunch time will be from 12 noon to 12.45 for this whole week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parent Council Fundraising Group<\/strong><\/p>\n

The next meeting of the Fundraising Group is on Wednesday 17th<\/sup> December at 6pm in the Moorings.\u00a0 New members and those who can help out at any of our events are always welcome.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christmas Holiday<\/strong><\/p>\n

The school will finish on Tuesday 23rd December at 2.30pm.\u00a0 Please note this early finish time.\u00a0 All children are expected to be in school up until and including this last day.\u00a0 School restarts on Monday 5th<\/sup> January 2015 at 9am.<\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

August 2015 P1 Registration<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parents of children due to enrol for school for August 2015 should bring their child to school during the week beginning 12th<\/sup> January 2015.\u00a0 A reminder will be sent nearer the time of days and times and there will be notices in the church and local shops.\u00a0 The local nurseries will also have this information.<\/p>\n
