Robert Burns Charcoal Portraits

This week is art week, we have been drawing and using charcoal to make wonderful Robert Burns portraits. First You have to draw the picture that was done in a few simple steps. Step 1 : Draw an oval, step 2 : put four lines on the oval, the first one for lining up the eyes, the second for the nose, the third for the mouth and the fourth for the chin. Then we got to use the charcoal. Here is the result !.

  1. I think of a number.  I multiply it by 2, add 50 and my answer is 74.  What was my number?
  2. I think of a number.  I add 16, subtract 30 and my answer is 36.  What was my number?
  3. I think of a number.  I subtract 25 and add 2.  I then multiply by 2.  My answer is 154, what was my number?

Now write your own “I think of a number word problem” and explanation of how to work it out.

P7a Hockey Heros ! :D

Over the last few weeks p7a have been doing hockey for P.E . Our hockey instructor is called Graham. He is an active schools

co-ordinator.He has taught us many skills such as…The Indian Dribble,Passing,Defending,Leading,Communication and many more. None of us knew how to do hockey,but Graham helped us and we got it eventually.We have one more week left,so we hope we learn new skills
