Blue Group – inferential questions

Here are the questions that the girls missed when they attended the sports festival.

1. “or I’ll tell terror” (p162).  What does this tell us about how people feel about the terror?  Find other examples to back up this view.

2. When the boys chapped the door looking for the terror, how does the woman’s tone show how she feels about :  a) the boys   b) the terror.   Explain your answer.

Peer Assessment

Today we began a block of writing instructions.  Our first set of instructions was to make a cup of tea.  Mr Smith took us into the staffroom to make a cup and we then discussed the stages needed.  We created a checklist of criteria that people needed to meet and we wrote a comment before discussing it with our partners.

Hopefully this will help us improve our work.

Visit to Coltness High

Tomorrow (Tuesday 9th October) we are visiting Coltness High for a rugby festival in the morning and for their school show in the afternoon.  We will stay at the high school and use a classroom for our work and to have our lunch.  Pupils will need school bag, PE kit and uniform.  They will be dismissed from Coltness High School at 3pm and make their way home from there.
