I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year! We are looking forward to an extremely busy term:
and lots more to come.
In class we have been making pop up books . There are four different groups and what ever group is the quite than all the other groups they get one Santa coin .
Here are our winter Haikus. These are 3 line poems that follow a 5-7-5 syllable structure.
Feel free to add feedback about the poems.
For homework for the last two weeks we have been doing lots of research. These include Dresden, zoos, bears and elephants. There is lots on our class wall with very interesting information.
Well done to all the boys and girls that are completing and handing in homework on time. However I would like to see more people handing it in and more people taking care with the quality of the work they hand in.

In maths we have been learning about probability. We have been discussing how we can use the phrases certain, unlikely, likely and impossible to describe the likelohood of an event occuring. We also learned about evens meaning that there is a 50-50 chance of something happening.
Can you choose one (or more) of the phrases and write an event that’s likelihood is described by the phrase.
