Commonwealth Week
Next week all of the classes will be learning more about the Commonwealth Games which are coming to Glasgow in 2014. Miss Dempsey, Miss Allan and the Health Committee have been working hard to plan lots of exciting and fun experiences for all of the classes and will tell you all about them on Friday afternoon. We can’t wait!
Public speaking competition
A massive well done to our fantastic primary 7 pupil Alix who took part in the Clyde Valley High School partnership primary pupil speaking competition. She gave a very interesting talk on the Water world in front of an audience of 150. WELL DONE!

Room 8
This week we have been sorting out our folders for parents night on Thursday. Doing our Phonemes,handling money, graphs, houses and water aid. We have been very busy this week.
Working in room 4
In Primary 1 everyone has been learning new spelling words, they have also been learning new phonemes like the ch, sh, th, ng and the ph sound. They have been taking away from 10 and in art they have been making lady birds out of clay now that is very hard. In their storywriting they have been writing lovely thank you letters. Primary 1 have been working really hard.
