Well – we’ve had a great morning – and the rain and cold hasn’t bothered us at all!!
One group went on a tree climbing activity and had a great time. Another group went on a ‘Safari’ and learned all about the local wildlife, fed the birds, learned how to make an arrow from grass, and trapped and released a vole!
Mrs Lilly and Mr MacLeod took a group canoeing and kayaking (with an instructor!) and had a great time. The children displayed excellent team work and only 3 or 4 children ended up swimming. Mrs Lilly also ended up in the water. She was a good stickleback!
This afternoon we’ve got more planned and we’ll update you all again later on!!
I love the idea of a Scottish safari and can’t wait to hear more about the things you have been learning about.
Well done to the canoe and kayaking groups. I tried this a few years ago and it was really tricky. I’m glad Mrs Lilly got the hang of it and can’t wait to see some pictures of you all.
Go Mrs Lilly. I’m sure you were hero of the day! Hope you all have a fab time and the weather is a little kinder tomorrow. Keep sending us parents little snippets of your adventure xx
Hope u s r all having a great time
