What’s happening in December?

Church Visit

As part of our ‘Christmas’ context, our children will be visiting a local church – Coltness Memorial Church. This visit will take place on Tuesday 15th December, for both AM and PM children. AM – 9am and PM – 1pm. Any parents/careers who would like to accompany us are welcome.

Christmas Fayre

We are selling some lovely Christmas treats and raffle tickets for our Christmas hampers. All monies will be going towards our Nursery Christmas Parties. We are looking for some helpers to help sell them both.

Parent Helpers

We are looking for parents to help us with:

  • Making Reindeer Dust
  • Arts and Crafts Activites
  • Sell Christmas Fayre Treats
  • Sell raffle tickets for Christmas Hampers

Christmas Cards

At this time of year, many children bring Christmas cards into nursery for their friends. Each year this leads to a lot of waste, due to cards not being purchased. This year, can we suggest that each child brings one card only, addressed to all their friends? These could be displayed in the foyer. A donation could be made to a charity in lieu of purchasing cards, if desired.
