This was the favourite part of our week. We had to buy some food  and pay for it with the correct money. If something cost 7p we would need to give the shopkeeper a 5p and a 2p.

We had to scan the food to get the price and tell the customers how much it was.

We thought Joe was the best shopkeeper because he was so polite and very cheery. We had to think of a name for the shop, we came up with lots of ideas so we had a class vote and decided that The Penny School Shop was the winner.

This activity was brilliant, fantastic, super duper and 100% brilliant.

We hope we can keep the shop for a little bit longer.

We used 2 Simple to create a factfile on the Solar

System.

“I  like the space topic because I love

the different planets.”

We had lots of super ideas on expanding the topic.

” We learned lots of new ‘ay’ words”

“We all got 2 new books this week. My book is

brilliant”

We had a Halloween Disco, it was great fun.

“I loved the dancing and playing the different games.”

3 boys in our class won  prizes for winning

some  games.

“We were dancing and running around

with our friends.”  said one of the girls

What an exciting week we have had.

We all  loved doing the symmetrical painting.

“It was brilliant”

“When we folded the paper it made 2 pictures.

They were exactly the same”
