All pupils will be expected to do a reading activity each evening. P1-3 will take a reading book or home reader, home and this should be returned on a daily basis.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\">As the children progress through the school, they will move on to a \u201cHome Reader\u201d book. A range of short books (similar in standard to the material they are using in the class) will be available for the pupils to choose from.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\">All homework sheets \u00a0should be signed after homework is checked. \u00a0If a child does not understand what to do, it is preferable to abandon \u00a0the task rather than persevere for too long.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\">It should be noted that no untaught work will be given as homework.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\" align=\"left\">Children have access to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studyladder.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Study Ladder<\/a> and can complete additional homework tasks using this website.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The school has an agreed Homework Policy.
