Remember if you would like to leave a comment, it would be lovely to hear from you!

Have a safe Spring Break and remember these are just suggestions.

Good morning boys

Happy Friday!:) Well we made it to the Easter Holidays!

So today I would like you to spend some time catching up on any activities you didn’t get a chance to complete.

After that choose one of these lovely Easter themed activities :

Watch one of these lovely Easter movies

  • The Easter Bunny Comes to Town    –   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTzLNJqgBvQ&list=PLGqvTZeKNUpxPtMYkBiRUGm-KRI-3rHnp&index=3&t=0s

or

  • The First Easter Bunny   –    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=il6crTYj87s&list=PLGqvTZeKNUpxPtMYkBiRUGm-KRI-3rHnp&index=8&t=0s

or

  • Make a beautiful rainbow using any craft materials you have at home. Make it as big as you can a put it on a window at home facing outwards. It will make people smile as they walk by. 🙂

Over the Easter Break the school is going to publish 2 Easter Home Learning Grids with lots of suggestions for fun things to do to keep you entertained and smiling. 🙂

Enjoy the Easter holidays boys – don’t eat too many chocolate eggs!:)

I miss seeing your smiles every day, but it makes me happy knowing you’re safe at home.

Take care and look after each other at home.

Room 10 Primary 5

Good Morning wonderful Primary 5,

I hope you are all staying safe at home with your loved ones.

Here are some suggestions from your home learning grid for today:

Literacy

  • Spelling – play your favourite song and see how many times you can write your spelling words (correctly) before the song finishes. Try again to see if you can beat your score, or challenge an adult to do it with you.
  • Writing – write a spring poem that has at least 3 stanzas. Make sure to include adjectives, alliteration and rhyme in your poem.

I would love to see your finished poems! You can send me them through GLOW, Teams or on Twitter 😊

Numeracy

  • Continue to work hard on Sumdog for Mrs Anderson’s challenge. Well done to those who are already trying hard on this, keep it up  👍😎

Science

With your parent or guardians permission, visit the Glasgow Science Centre LiveStream and watch some live science. You can even try some of your own experiments at home (with adult supervision of course). If you can, take some photographs of your experiment and upload them to Twitter or send them through GLOW.

This Rocket Launch premiers at 10am today! Watch it here Live Rocket Launch

Health & Wellbeing

While we are at home, it is important that we remain positive and keep our bodies healthy and active. Create a positivity poster to encourage others to stay positive during this challenging time. You could even display your poster on your window for everyone to see.

Have a lovely day, stay safe and speak soon.
