Good Morning boys and girls,

Hope you are all well and enjoyed a few days relaxing with your families this weekend !

Another short week this week. We have prepared some Chili Challenge Grids to keep you busy. Remember only do what you can, there is no pressure to complete all of the activities. We would love to see your little faces or some of the things you have been doing. You can upload these to your class Teams page, email them directly to your teacher on Glow or add them to the schools Twitter page.

Remember activities are also available on Sumdog, Studyladder  and Espresso.

Primary 3 Room 4

Good morning boys and girls,

Hope you are safe and well and had a nice weekend. This will be my only post this week as we now work on a daily general school post (Tuesday- Friday) as all classes have access to Teams via Glow.

Login to Glow and open Teams- then open Room 4- look in Files for more details about suggested learning from the Home Learning Grid.

Look in Assignments for detailed Literacy/Reading/Writing work that, if possible, can be completed over the week and uploaded next Thursday if you would like to share it with me.

Remember this is suggested learning and not compulsory, please complete at your discretion as best works for your family during the challenging time.

Wednesday 6th May

Good Morning Boys and Girls!

It looks like another beautiful day today so why don’t you get outside for some fresh air and exercise if you can.  See how many different flowers and blossoms you can spot on your walk.

As always, try to do some tasks from your home learning grids that your teachers have provided for you, login to Sumdog and studyladder and have a look at your Teams page for any daily updates from your teacher.  The teachers at Muir Street are missing you all and we can’t wait to see you again and find out everything you have been doing.  Remember you can email us on Glow or message us on Teams if you need any help.  We will get back to you as soon as we can!

Have a lovely day, stay safe and if you can make someone smile today!

Chocolate Challenge Tuesday!

I love baking and last night I decided to make a chocolate cake! I didn’t have everything I usually have so I had to improvise on the icing for my cake but I am going to post my recipe here and challenge you all to try it! There’s no specialist equipment needed. Just some help from an adult for the oven and boiling water! All you need is a bowl, measuring jug, whisk, spatula, cup, teaspoon and two cake tins. The recipe is super easy where all the dry ingredients go in one bowl and wet in another! Follow the recipe and post some pictures please! The toppings on your cake can be endless! I melted some chocolate for the top and sandwiched the two cakes together with some apricot jam. It was delicious!

Happy baking!
