Good morning everyone! Happy Friday!  I’ll be available online today for any help you need 🙂
As you will see from the weekly grid (in files), your tasks today are RME, Spelling, Taught Writing and PE. I’ve uploaded your taught writing to ‘Assignments’. To access it look at the top of the Teams page and click on Assignments. Read the instructions and remember to click ‘turn in’ once you have completed your task. You can take a photo, upload it via the Teams app on your phone and then ‘turn in’ from there also. If you wish to do your task on paper remember to email me a picture of it or upload a screen shot to Teams. If you have any questions I’m only a message away!

Good morning everyone!

Thanks again to those of you who have been completing the online tasks. I’ve loved hearing from you and seeing all of your hard work.

I’ve attached this week’s online learning grid, the spelling grid and your weekly spelling words. This is all the files you need for today, as the rest of your tasks are on websites. Please see the weekly grid for today’s tasks – just look for the Thursday column. You will also find these in the folder ‘Week beginning 11th January’ in teams.

I’m in school again today, so Mrs MacFarlane will be available to help you if you have any questions.

Below you will find all of your tasks for today, as well as the weekly grid. Remember to check the grid so you know what you have to do each day.

I have also emailed these tasks and posted them to Teams. Just go to ‘Files’ and then ‘Week beginning 11th January’. Remember to scroll down when you open a file so you can see the whole document 🙂

When you have completed your tasks you can post your work on teams, create a file on teams with the tasks included, or email me them at gw16welshjillian@glow.sch.uk. To send an email- go to glow homepage, click ‘mail’ and then ‘new message’.

Hello,

We’re here again… We know many of you are facing disruption due to school closures, so we’re going to make the Teach Your Monster to Read app free once again. You can get all three Teach Your Monster to Read games completely free in one app, from Tuesday January 12 to Sunday January 17.

Once downloaded, there’s nothing else to pay. No subscription, no in-app purchases and definitely no ads.

Please share this news with all teachers and parents you know, so that their kids can learn to read with our government-approved phonics and literacy games. They’ll thank you for it!

Accessing Online Learning Using Games Consoles

Accessing Online Learning via Playstation

First navigate to the far right and select library.

Next select Applications then select Internet Browser.

Click start.

Then press the triangle on the controller and type in Glow RM UNIFY.

Press R2 to search.

Click the first link that you see

This will direct you to the GLOW login page where you can now enter your login details.

Once logged in you will see Microsoft Teams on your Launch Pad click on teams and select your class team.

This is where your daily tasks will be.

 

Accessing Online Learning via Xbox

Plug a keyboard into the Xbox USB slot.

Go into my games and apps.

Find Microsoft Edge and select.

Type in: Glow RM Unify and search.

This will direct you to the GLOW login page where you can now enter your login details.

You can then access your work through Microsoft Teams where your tasks will be uploaded within your class channel.
